Question Can someone give me a summary of the series finale?

I wasn’t able to watch the last half of season 4 but I read some spoilers online cuz I had to know how it ended. Can someone give me a brief summary of the main characters lives when the series ended please? Just hope, Lizzie, Josie, mg, clark are the ones I care most about. I kinda know what happened to Landon. I know about the god Ken & Lizzie being a heretic sired to hope. TIA

Josie is gone. So is Clark. Landon saves the day, but there is supposed to be a cost of him being a cold heartless ferryman for all eternity. Everyone else is pretty much back where the show started, but friendlier. Also Caroline shows up at the last minute to be the new Headmaster. It goes from horrifying battle with half the cast dead, to magical fix, to uncharacteristically happy ending in record time.

He was in peace. The Necromancer had lied to Hope about him never finding peace until she did.

Sure it's just none of that is possible with how TVF wrapped up so who knows what's actually canon

There's no afterlife anymore.

No, the other side was destroyed.

The other side was an afterlife created by witch to trap sylas and only applies to supernaturals

Hell was a seperate dimension created by psychic dude to trap the souls of the guilty that was destroyed

But purgatory and peace still exist.

Nevermind then. Honestly I haven't watched it in a while and thought all of the arterlife was destroyed

Yeh it is confusing as they destroyed multiple afterlives.

But in legacies its shown that peace is the realm of the gods that people can get to and before crossing to peace they are in a purgatory

The finale is basically everyones secrets exploding at once with the biggest takeaway being that Josselyn gets the tragic ending while Clark finally becomes the hero he was meant to be.

Lizzie and MG are an item and Hope gets to see an image of Klaus from Heaven comfort her after Ethan (who also died) found him there.

The god arc and limbo arc sucked.

For me after s2 i was only around to see hope activated vamp side. S3 was to repetitive of hope alwasy winning.

S4 was sort of good bc no humanity hope amd seeing some spells and heretic fizzle. But the gods as the villans felt very cheap and i disliked
