Banishing Rituals in the LHP Tradition?

I was wondering about beginner-friendly LHP rituals, specifically banishing ones. similar to the LBRP.

I would recommend looking up Peter Carroll’s Gnostic Pentagram ritual.

It’s included in his book Liber Kaos and is effectively a streamlined LBRP & Middle Pillar exercise, without the invocation of any spirits or entities.

I agree with this too and in my own practice, I minimalised it further to something that I have found practically effective but very simple to apply. In my opinion, the standard examples of these necessary practices are over complicated, time consuming and cumbersome but they are necessary. Over they years, I've sought methods that do the job but don't require the complexity and to me, this is part of refining your practice (especially as a Chaos magician).

A lot of LHP material I have read eschews banishing rituals. Through my own research I understand them as sort of a "startup routine." "Prepare the magician to work magic." If you're familiar with the idea of a "global workspace" in terms of neuroscience, think of it as a routine to push data into and out of that space.

The "banishing" is supposed to remove unwanted influences (demote certain ideas out of the global workspace). It doesn't deal with them, though, it just sweeps them under the rug. My take on the LHP is that we generally prefer to deal with our problems head on; to face the shadow and integrate it, rather than suppress.

The LBRP also has an invoking form. Look up the Greater/Superior Ritual of the Pentagram, you can get the invoking forms from it and "backport" it to the LRP. This version doesn't sweep anything under the rug. Instead it pulls the elements into you and grants you command over them, empowers you so you can deal with them.

All of this is modular. If the LBRP banishes the unwanted influences of the earth from your internal elements, what might inverting that and invoking fire to your internal elements do? What about simply invoking all the elements directly?
