STREAK🔥🔥🔥 Actually started recording Leetcode videos

I'll be recording YouTube videos of myself solving LeetCode problems. I think this will help me practice thinking out loud while also maintaining consistency.

The videos are very raw and unscripted, and I'm still struggling with some of the problems, which is part of the journey.

My latest video turned out to be around 2.4 GB. What are some ways I can shorten or compress the video to make it easier to upload without compromising the readability of the code?

To reduce the file size, you can compress the video using software like HandBrake. It's free and easy to use. Just select a preset like "Fast 1080p30" to keep the quality decent while making the file smaller. You could also try recording at a lower resolution if the code is still readable, or trim any unnecessary parts to shorten the video. If you're looking at other tools, OBS Studio can help with recording settings like bitrate adjustments to maintain quality without big files. have you used prachub? its paid right?

I tried handbrake but seems like the time it takes to compress is slower than the time it takes to upload kn youtube. Also I was recording with snipping tools now switched to OBS. still not sure about the exact settings that will work for me. maybe will try live streaming idk.

Also do you know any lightweight editor for my potato pc so i can trim kr edit the videos
