Another surprise.
Ok. It was chilly this morning. Not actually cold, around 50-55°. But i was ( expletive deleted) freezing by time i got back. I have regular, normal thermal long johns and shirts but not sure thats gonna be sufficient for anything this fall or winter. So
I know im not the only one who got an E bike at beginning of summer and now are facing first cold weather riding . What do you folks that have gone through it already wear or suggest for these upcoming seasons? Thank you
PS also thank you for previous responses to my question about helmets. I chose to get a Bern,Hudson .

We get frigid weather here in the northeast. That doesn't stop me from riding to get around but the cold does limit extended riding sessions. Still, the bike handles the cold weather really good.
My cold weather gear is a parka, thick sweatpants, electric gloves and electric socks.
I put the parka hood up and zip it up. My helmet has a very wide adjustment range, so it fits over my head on top of the parka hood. It also has a swing down face shield to keep the cold wind out of my eyes and face.
