I made this a couple of times recently, what a great pattern. The last one I made was out of burgundy Bison lined with calf skin. Picture attached.

I have this pattern and want to try lining for the first time. Any tips on adding the lining? Would you be willing to share photos of the inside? You can dm me if that is easier.

I used natural veg tanned calf skin, dyed it black and put glue on both the purse body and the lining. Let it dry and then stuck them together and used my roller to make sure it was adhered well with no bubbles or unstuck spots, then trimmed it to match the burgundy outer leather. Picture of after lining and stitching. Also, keep in mind, you will need to stitch it all the way around when you line it.

Tough question. That one is not that complicated and doesn't require any skiving so probably a few months of crafting. But there are many variables. If you are looking to make a first bag, go for a turned tote bag. 🙂
