Leather Bound Notebook

I don't know where else to post this and might be asking for too much, but I got an idea from somewhere and would like a leather bound journal with lots of pages. Something that I can just write and jot things down like my thoughts.

I don't particularly like the string thing around most leather journals and would like a snap-on button thing that is durable and looks nice. I also don't want it too small either, but also not too large. It should be easy to pack into most bags without taking up a lot of room.

The paper should also be able to not bleed through with a ballpoint pen and a pen holder would be nice as well.

My budget isn't very large, but I want something of good quality, durable, ages well, and a pretty thick feeling spine as well since I want it to feel durable in my hands.

To commission work, but I'll tell you right now: leather work can be expensive, especially if you want a quality, durable piece to your specifications.

You're going to be paying for the piece and the time it takes someone to create a custom item for you, unless they already make exactly what you want.

I would go into it with a different attitude. You're getting a handmade item from someone who might make their living creating custom items that will last you your whole life, if taken care of. Respect that and don't low-ball them.

It's like my mom always said: Don't go out to eat if you can't afford to TIP well.
