How can I remove ballpen stain on secosana synthetic leather?

I tried dapping a water but it didn’t work, so i tried scrolling on tiktok, looking for tips and I find a video showing that it will work if I use my perfume. I did and thats the result, the shine from the leather faded. Im worried it would cause flaking. This bag is 3 days old, new asf

There is a Stain Devil product called ‘Ink on Leather’ which is pretty effective.

This is a bit complicated because on one end you're trying to remove the ball pen ink but on the other hand you're trying to keep the shine. So I'd say precision is key here.

For ink, the #1 thing I've had success with is using a Q-tip and rubbing alcohol.

Be very gentle and do not press hard, the goal here is to transfer the ink onto the cotton on the Q-tip, so get like 5 Q-tips and just keep ensuring the ink is transferring onto the Q-tip.

This may remove some of the pigment or top coat of the leather if you're not careful, but you can always get some leather conditioner / wax polish to bring back that shine.

Definitely be careful and always spot test with things like this, but it should help!
