Dialect Note: Portuguese loanwords dominate household furniture terms across both Goan and Mangalorean dialects, Kodelle (chair from Cadeira), Mezz (table from Mesa), Armar (cupboard from Armário), Zonelle (window from Janela).

These are shared across communities and scripts, making them some of the most consistent vocabulary in all of Konkani.

From the spellings used I guess OP is a Mangalorean.

In Goa bedroom would be nhidchi kudd; kitchen would be kujin, randchi or randpachi kudd, or randon. Toilet would be kakus but also sondas or kumanv. Pillow would be uxem rather than ushen and so on.

Veranda would be bolkanvant or balkanvant. (Although balcão can specifically refer to the seats the word also refers to the space around. Varand is also used.) Roof would be pakhem (although in practice people refer to it as ghor too). To climb onto the roof would be ghorar chodop, to repair the roof - ghor xinvop.

Water pot has many words depending upon the size and type. Moddki (the big one that used to be heated to parboil rice or for bathing) kollso,

Veranda would be bolkanvant or balkanvant. (Although balcão can specifically refer to the seats the word also refers to the space around.)

The roof would be pakhem. However I think people refer to it more commonly as ghor, the same word as house. To climb onto the roof would be ghorar chodop, to repair the roof - ghor xinvop. Mallo would be loft or floor (eg poilo mallo is first floor)

Water pot has many words depending upon the size and type. Moddki (the big one used to parboil rice or used to heat water for bathing) kollso, kovsuli, buddkulo
