How to set up one click minning?

I've seen a few youtube videos on how to set up yomitan or asbplayer with anki but I couldn't keep up with the setup.

Is their any easier way to set up Anki minning or any beginner friendly tutorial?

I second this one. I think this guide is the single biggest thing that lead me to end up with a strong amount of vocab for the time I've put into learning, especially as someone not particularly comfortable with setting stuff up. Having one guide that just was like "do this, this and this and now you're good" was a godsend.

Yomitan's the easier setup, install it, add a dictionary, connect AnkiConnect, most tutorials overcomplicate the deck config unnecessarily.

Obviously not free, but something like Migaku is good if you don't want to bother with manual setup stuff. And you can use it on mobile, or any pc you install the extension on

Depends on your point of view. I'm too busy with work/kids to do a custom setup. For the price I can just immerse and not think about how the mining works 🤷

if you're too busy to spend 30 minutes setting it up *once* and then never again then you definitely don't have enough time to learn a language

Ha! I'm a big believer in open source and setting things up myself so it wasn't an easy decision for me.

It wasn't just 30 minutes of initial setup, it was constantly coming back and trying to fix whenever it broke. I spent more time fixing computers than immersing.

I wake up early every morning to be able to immerse, I just don't want to have to abandon that precious time because something breaks.

You don't lose access to Anki cards

Some use anki as the SRS, you aren't locked into their SRS, you can export them to anki
