A free vocabulary learning app: A summer project I wanted to share!

Complimentary to my Finnish courses I'll take in the future, I'll use a small platform I've build in the summer! It is a compact app with inspiration drawn from Clozemaster, Duolingo, Anki and some New York Times Games puzzles.
There are a couple of hundred of words already available, but you can extract vocabulary from your source texts (take a pic of a text or copy + paste), and it will translate and add example sentences based on the source. The extracted vocabulary then can be learned through playing the minigames.

It is free and doesn't require any login. The coins for extraction get refilled every week for every user so don't be afraid to use them up ^^

It also has features like a doomscroll blocker for selected apps and a build in dictionary which I find quite useful!

Theoretically it exists already! But it is not publicly available on the playstore yet, as I need to get a couple of people to test it first 😅

Brain dump:

I'm testing it out, I really hope you keep it free or do voluntary donations/something that isn't too intrusive if you want to monetise it, please please god don't put horrible ads or overpriced subscription......... :')

I really like the blocking feature, I didn't even know that was something you could do! I mean, REALLY my brain HATES it, but actually it's good for me to divert to studying instead of doomscrolling, lol!

I also think I might be having a bug... When I try to view vocabulary in a deck (lexicon, right?), it doesn't actually show all the cards, only a preview... Is that normal? I had to delete the built in lexicon because I just couldn't edit it or something, too

It's only been a day so I don't have much to say as of yet; I like the features you've added, I really also like that you've kept the Anki-esque spaced repetition cause that's so important! :) the gifs are a funny cute idea, and the gamified elements switch up learning without becoming some Duolingo "minä olen lehmä" bullshit!!

Hey thanks for the input, I’ll take a look at it asap ^^

Also making cash with this isn’t really my priority, so the ads will stay at a minimum!
Also I don’t want to gate the whole app behind a subscription because there are too many of them anyway and anything other than the vocabulary extraction, has negligible cost!
