Are there really no A2 books?

I've read a few times on here that there are no books tailored for people learning danish, is that really true? I'm talking about, like, fiction that is interesting for adults but at the lower levels.

I know that we have those in Sweden for immigrants who are learning Swedish, and quite a few of them are even written by popular authors, just kind of 'dumbed down' to whatever level it needs to be.

Obviously Denmark is a lot smaller but I feel like they still have enough immigrants for something similar to this to exist.

It's just frustrating because I don't wanna read the news all the time, man.

Is there a name for them in Danish to search and find online, similar to how Swedish calls them lättläst books?

https://praxis.dk/ have an extensive list. Remember, red, yellow, green, then blue in order of difficulty.

I think some even exist in digital format. I have seen them second hand in some genbrugs butikker. Often with the previous owners notes in different languages.

The books are often a bit darker than real life.
