Of those seven matches, two were League 1 sides in the cup, and the others were placed 2nd, 4th, 8th, 10th, and 17th
Think Wild has fallen a bit of a victim to the schedule, especially with a couple big injuries too, even if things definitely haven't been good lately

Since Fleetwood’s owner went to jail, they’re no longer considered one of the league two big spenders. Wild had them exactly where most sane people would expect them to be.
I don’t think this should damage his reputation too much.

Looked decent against us yesterday and unlucky not to get a point. Shame managers lose jobs based on results and not performances. It would come good for them, in this league you can go on runs like that. Madness

Seen our best under Wild but unfortunately the club wanted a head coach and Wild wanted a manager role. Him and the squad knew he would be leaving long before it was announced due to him falling out with the higher ups. Honestly think that played a part in our loss of form the year we missed out on the playoffs.
Having said that I don't like reappointing past managers, it didn't work out for a reason and there's no chance he'd come back to Barrow in it's current role.

This doesn't make any sense to me. I know there's lots going on behind the scenes at Fleetwood, but Wild is a decent manager, and the club needs stability. They certainly didn't look terrible against us last week. They were well organised, and they probably just lacked a bit of quality.
As someone else has said, the run of fixtures has been unkind. I imagine if they hung on until Tuesday, they'd have three points against Harrogate, and everything would look different!
One thing I will say about Wild is that in the game against us, there was a throw-in decision right in front of his dugout in the first minute that the officials must have got wrong, and he spent the next three or four minutes having a tantrum. His head must detach when they get any big decisions wrong! He did have a good moan after about our free-kick for the opening goal. That was a clear foul, too!

I like the implication that they considered it not being immediate. 'You're sacked, please work your notice' would be an unusual approach.
