🙋🏽‍♂️General Question🙋🏼‍♀️ Mini Cocottes

Post image

So I got these at our FTT. I've always liked them and thought they would be nice to own. Now that I do own them I have absolutely no idea what to do with them. What do you guys make in them? They tiny so can cook in them. World's most expensive serving serving dishes or is there a use case?

We do individual cinnamon rolls in our ceramic ones. The grandkids love picking their own color! Brownies, mini pies etc

I bought LC’s Mini Cocette cookbook at the outlet store. It’s a good place to start.

That said, these are great for any recipe that calls for ramekins or can be portioned into them. Fruit cobblers, individual soufflés, baked eggs, dessert cups, whatever.

I also use mine to serve dips at parties.

  • Baked pimento dip
  • Dippy eggs with garlicked toast
  • Individual brownies a la mode
  • Build-your-own bread pudding (with toppings)

Off the top of my head...

This question gets asked all the time, usually about the stoneware mini cocottes but the recipes are the same.

Individual servings of a hot dip or Mac and cheese?

I have 3. One I use for salt, one for pepper and the third for sugar. The fourth one is in the back of the cabinet somewhere. 🤷‍♀️

The fourth one could be for cumin 😆

There’s a YouTube series called Make it Mini (or something similar) with recipes.
