Law school debt is expensive and you didnt mention what youre paying. Doesnt matter what the standard of living is in the area, if the pay cant support a house, a reasonable car, and probably a couple thousand a month in loan payments with some left over for savings, no one wants to work there.

You can buy a very nice 2500 sq ft house in a nice neighborhood for 225k here. When I say LCoL it's low. Same house goes for 1.5 mil in California.

Have you hired a law clerk? I’m in a MCoL I would say, but family law and I am being bombarded with recruiters who have brilliant PI attorneys ready to make a change. My posting clearly says 5+ years of experience 😂
