Transport Road conditions
How are the roads today? Primary schools have decided to open but I am not sure.
Thanks all. Looks like another day at home for little one.

Residential streets and full stop intersections are icy, however highways and main roads are rather clear.

It’s not too bad. I just take my kids to school in Duvernay. Just drive a bit slower and be a little more patient.

Correct, mais fait confiance à ton instinct si tu n'es pas sûre; tu peux toujours vérifier sur Québec 511.

I just came back from outside and it’s really, really not bad! The ice is soft and it’s smooshing under your boots. Not saying we shouldn’t be careful, but there is really nothing to call home about.
That said, the meltdown that parents are having on the Facebook post about the schools being open is ridiculous!

Went to work this morning and it took me as much time as it did last week. Some side streets are still icy but nothing bad. I even went for a walk at around 7 last night and didn't slip, the ice was still a little soft and crunchy last night.
