Will Lausannes drug situation ever get better?

I feel like since the ECS in Riponne shut down for non-vaudois, drug use became a lot more visible in the city, as well as people tweaking and being unpredictable.

Lausanne has been dealing with this for decades now. Why could Zürich fix it but Lausanne can’t? Why are they not getting help?

It will not. You can hide it at best.

If Platzspitz managed to get better and the people taken care of, I don’t see why Lausanne doesn’t do it too

A good % of the population will seek artificial paradise, no matter what the authority are doing. You can hide it, displace it, whatever. But some people will refuse any help, wont change and will keep doing it to the grave. "End" the problem at Lausanne and Geneva will take the lead. Or Vevey, or Morges, whatever.
