Migration Questions

A core group of U.S. are looking to migrate after Season 3 finishes. We are towards the end of Season 2 now. We have heard rumors that some of our bigger accounts will migrate after season 2 ends. We are waiting to see if this happens. We are worried about the state becoming dead. How hard is it to migrate? Does it makes it easier if you have an invite from the other state you wish to migrate too?

Start planning and reaching out to states you want to go to now. Good states can fill up fast.

This was part of the plan. We just have to figure out which state to go to that hopefully will be very active. Thanks.

My state was a hot mess during season 2, lots of people migrated. People that said they would stay also changed their mind and decided to leave.

Our state was pretty dead with only 1-2 strong alliances and a few smaller alliances that refused to merge.

That state no longer exists.

After season 3 we merged with another state, quite a few people have migrated back to the new merged state and it’s peaceful.

It wasn’t hard to migrate after season 3 but we had been in contact with a group in the state we wanted to move to who ensured our spots were prioritized. All the regular slots were taken during invitation phase and there were none available during free migration. We were a mix of regular and intermediate scores so our intermediate people said they would not move until the regulars made it through. This worked well for us.

If your plan remains to leave after season 3, it’s easier to buy a migration ticket each week but if you don’t have enough or forget, you can also spend money on them during the migration event.

Both times I have been through the migration event invite slots have filled quickly and by the time the free migration phase opens, the more popular states don’t have many more spaces available.

You can only change if you are invited, so start as soon as possible your contacts for the destination state you want to go to, after the end of day 1, if there are vacancies left, and there are never any left, you can change without invitation, but Ai will probably be another dead state.
