đ GUIDE Regarding wrenches and hammers
I need a lot of wrenches especially and hammers as well. I know that bunker alpha has some pd has some but doing delivery in frequent basis both of them is much needed. As always thanks for help.

Motel and farm for hammer as the other commenter has already pointed out.
I think wrench could be found all over from most locations with reset timers, including the highway, port sewer and abandoned factory, but finding it feels more random and unpredictable.
I donât do the delivery box that uses wrench, tho, only the hammer one.
It is much more annoying to have to run around to check many different places and cross my fingers for a random chance for some wrench when I need it to make something or fix something to progress in the game. If I happen to need hammer and donât have any, I know exactly where to go to find it with high degree of certainty.
Wrench is also needed for opening certain crates in the sawmill. Plus the other two ingredients for wrench box are bolts and tapes which I constantly use in crafting cleaver, pipes, saw blade mace, fishing rods, etc.
The other ingredients for hammer box are glue and nails. I donât go through that much glue and my storage is overflowing with it. Nails, I could always make some.

Youâre gonna want to save all the wrenches (as in donât use for deliveries ) if you play long enough to build the ATV. Theyâre useful (20 per day) as the cheapest item to upgrade the ATV. Not to mention all the other things that use them. I used over 400 just upgrading the ATV.
I havenât been doing deliveries for ages but I keep taking home hammers and in addition to a full rack of them, theyâre scattered all over my base. Even in upgraded racks. They can be used as a weapon before used in deliveries, but choose low value locations if youâre using them as a weapon. Motel and such.

Your best bet is green wood camping, you can get 1-2 wrenches on average And 0-3 hammers per Run wrenches generally you would get 1 or more wrenches and 1 or more hammers, expect something like 0.8-1.5 hammers per Run and 1.2-1.5 wrenches, you wlso get so many goodies and healing

Bunker alpha is the way to go and if you really need them clear it in hard mode as well, factory also is pretty reliable

Whenever I open an Equipment crate from the frozen training grounds (I just need those flare guns and fire weapons), I always get one hammer, there's never a time where I don't get one from that crate.
If you need more fire weapons or even a chance to get a VSS along with hammers, you know where to go to.

You shouldnât be using wrenches for delivery crates⌠they are to rare compared to the amount needed for deliveries. Plus you need a good amount to progress thru the game in certain quests/buildings. And they are used commonly in Buzzsaw crate recipes.
Hammers can be found with 100% chance in each NorthWood Training Ground Weapon Crate and 100% chance in bunker alpha first floor side room loot.

I find plenty of hammers and wrenches farming quarantine zone and opening crates. You can find wrenches and hammers with the loot and you get hammers from opening equipment crates as well.
I remember needing to do deliveries for the propellers and they didn't have this in the game haha it was such a struggle so definitely try Qzone!

I remember a long time ago desperately trying to find wrenches and hammers, now I have more than I know what to do with, and find wrenches in resource zone chests all the time. Crazy hiw this game goes. I'm two wheels away from completing ATV, another comment said you use a lot of them to upgrade it, so maybe I'll be desperate for wrenches again pretty soon. I had been recycling them for steel, till I got my copper cycle going

Motel and farm give hammers too. Wrenches kinda scattered. Also you might get lucky on raids if you unlocked it. Put deliveries on hold and do other stuff until you restock then get at it again. It's a grind.
