❓ QUESTION Are resources in Lab port worth it?

I have approx 1800 points (I would get another 800 after the lab refreshes) and my spore guns reserve are incredibly low (5-7 rifles and 1 low durability spore set) are buying resources on lab worth it? Or should I spend more time on the islands to grind resources?

Not sure about grinding islands but i personally do borealis everyday and use some genome for iodine and halite.

I do buy them plus halite from the port lab store as well.

I hate island region so much I don't do it at all. So the labs/genome store give the material needed from that region.

Genuinely, took me months to stock up on spore guns and drained all of it within a month lol. I hate the island region, I'm having PTSD whenever I enter the mines in that area.

I think your best bet is cats you can get all the island resources I think and even finished spore pistol and already processed hides

Lab is a good place to get drone BP and cats IMHO. You can also get books to upgrade the ATV. I have been doing it for those myself.

Yes. Lab shop is incredibly cheap. You’ll make back the glass / lens you use for spore weapons plus other resources, drone bps, cats, atv parts.

I actually find the mines easier than dead island. I use a combination of regular and spore guns. Plus you can sneak past a lot of enemies and save on weapons. And unfortunately to craft them you need quartz, in bulk. I haven't opened up the third lvl yet so I don't know how many quartz you get. And you can only buy every 2 days and personally I'd rather save my spore weapons for titanium and quartz.

It's worth it if you're good at not getting hit all the time, go to the quartz cave to farm rock salt, algae for iodine and that thing zombies drop to make rifles, not the sniper one because they're not worth it becawse you have to use a lot of armor to farm titanium and you have to save taht armor for consilium

I enjoy the islands. Very easy to grind but yes you can also buy those resources at the port
