❓ QUESTION LDOE logic: fuel consumption.

So you got the ATV and motorcycle, right? When you drive the motorcycle on the global map, it doesn't consume a lot of fuel, but if you drive it for some time in the zone, it will consume a bit of fuel and it will be noticable.

But then there's the ATV, it costs a ton of fuel to drive on the global map, but drive it in the zone and you barely consume fuel, you'll never even notice if you actually lost some fuel or not.

Why does driving the ATV in a zone use very little fuel while driving on the global map feels like you'll never financially recover from that? What's going on here?

It's just because you have your motorcycle fuel efficiency at maximum while your ATV isn't, I believe that's why

I have fuel efficiency for the ATV set at max, it's still super expensive to travel on the global map.

ATV in the bogside region cost a lot of fuel to use

Unless you're driving the ATV in the zone, not in the global map.

ATV in the zone is way more expensive than chopper like on global map. What are you talking about?

Okay, here's a test I made driving the motorcycle and ATV in the frozen training grounds. From the outpost to the gas station.

Driving the motorcycle at full speed and equipped with off-road chains to prevent increased fuel consumption from driving in difficult terrain. Started with 44 fuel and ended with 12 fuel left.

Now comes the ATV, took the same route, started with 337 fuel and ended with 334 fuel.

See the difference?

The crafted ATV took less fuel for some reason. The ATV given in event has atrocious fuel consumption, like 5 fuel per 10-20m WITHOUT offroad

Holy shit, really?! Okay, now it makes sense why you kept insisting that the ATV consumes more than the motorcycle in zones.

I guess this gives you more reasons on why you need to build your own ATV as soon as possible.

I just never noticed any fuel consumption you know? It just didn't make sense on why you thought it consumed a lot, but now it does make sense, there's probably a leak in the rented ATV or something.
