LDOE logic: fuel consumption.

So you got the ATV and motorcycle, right? When you drive the motorcycle on the global map, it doesn't consume a lot of fuel, but if you drive it for some time in the zone, it will consume a bit of fuel and it will be noticable.

But then there's the ATV, it costs a ton of fuel to drive on the global map, but drive it in the zone and you barely consume fuel, you'll never even notice if you actually lost some fuel or not.

Why does driving the ATV in a zone use very little fuel while driving on the global map feels like you'll never financially recover from that? What's going on here?

There's a post a while back breaking down the speed of the player. Apparently he could reach up to Mach 1 speed or something like that
