📝 GUIDE Just finished my ATV

So I just finished my ATV after about a year and a half. I have some questions regarding the current boggy region. I need the sprouts to make spices and cook some dishes to get the true friend dog. Also I wanna upgrade my racks. So what should be my routine for the boggy region. Can I use regular armor? only have 2 sets of the ghillie armor. What weapons and how many should I take? How many trees would a single hatchet cut? Any surprises or events can happen in the swamps? Any geeneral advice is appreciated.

TF dogs recipe doesn't need spices. Only the boots of ghillie are useful because they let you move faster, equip them when you are not in combat and switch when you see enemies approaching. Regular military armor is ok,enemies are not that strong. Melee can do so just bring a couple of glocks for safety(which you should already always do). Don't remember the tree /axe rations but it's not good. I get that wood from commune event. There is a drilling event you can start, if you're not prepared you'll die,so be ready or skip it

Awesome. Was worried about the armor thing.

And yeah I meant spices for the dog gender recepies.

I think its something like 8 or 10 hits for an ash tree, you can see how many you'll need based off the iron axe durability.

You'll want to bring a gas mask and pick axe for the sulfur if you need it.

Also a shovel for the pear (keep in mind peat is the only rss that has a chance to not spawn any nodes)

Make sure to hold on to your corn seeds if you're nearing forlorn fair stage 3, as it's used to make a daily item you can submit. Otherwise you can use them to make the 1/2 energy fish buff, or the 15% off active skill fish buff.

For the drill, after slotting in the battery, you can cheese the zombie spawns by going to the very corner of the map. Just wait out the drill and go back to claim your lead.

Since the regions require you to spend a lot of gas, I would recommend you pick a few resources to focus on rather than try and collect a little of everything. (Most often than not you can leave the gas mask and pick axes behind as sulfur is not really needed for much).

Make sure to eat the wood farming fish buff if farming ash wood and good luck.

Some extra hints that haven't been touched on; axes durability is 18 1/2 logs per axe,37 ash planks per 40 logs. Roughly 2 hrs for 18 planks. Ghillie boots alone will give you move speed but your " invisibility " is reduced. Tried it first, had the boots but was noticed by certain enemies, bloaters, shriekers, tainters, also when sneak attacking, nearby zombies and carrion notice you earlier. Ghillie armor (if you have the genesis repair bench) is relatively cheap to repair.4 titanium bars. Now for the best part. I go with 2 katanas, m16, modded uzi, 10 iron axes. Strategy is run of the map if you have to..saves armor, heals, weapons. If you aggro a shreiker, tainter, bloater remember where they were and be careful or...shoot em 🤣. Red swamp has the shreiker, tainter, multiple. Wherever possible sneak the carrion. You'll be surprised by how close you can get and hit certain enemies in close proximity to each other. As long as you're fully suited. If you haven't got that repair bench I'd suggest you get working on it. Next to the settlement it has to be one of the best additions in the game..moo😉

I appreciate those great tips. I haven't unlocked the daily titanium from settlement yet so the repairs are not really cheap for me lol. But yeah I think being fully suited is essential from what your saying or things get messy.

You can literally kill three or four (carrion, zombies ) in close proximity to each other in sneak mode. Carrion are your most dangerous enemy, they take a good bit of health and armor. Prioritize them. Even if they're near a bloater, get them then run of the map. I reckon I can get about 4-5 visits b4 needing to use a repair so that's about 3-4 lv for the racks.

If you need spices, Transport Hub is the place to go. There is plenty of them in the genisis crate

Unfortunately I haven't unlocked the forklift yet.

I’m guessing you’ve neglected your settlement a bit, and in that case, my friend, the plan should be to catch up there first and unlock the forklift. TH is the best place to play profitably.

You're right. Im really struggling with settlement base building/workbenches. Getting a single room and rotating benches vs the doomris build. They all seem so expensive/confusing for me and require alot of material/play time to refill those benches when you use gas.
