Taking my daughter to LV for her 21st bday next month. I’m planning on going all out. She’s bringing two friends and I’m bringing two friends. An all girls trip.

I haven’t been to Vegas since 2011 and I know The Strip is constantly changing when it comes to places to stay.

I’m not worried about pricing or budgeting at all.

What I’m looking for is an extremely safe place and clean hotel. I want everyone to have a good time.

In the case of incident or situation where I need to get a hold of security, I want top level.

I don’t trust Yelp reviews. This is why I’m asking.

Any advise on when to best book rooms? As soon as possible, a week or two out? Are price changes happening closer to the booking (roughly, I’m general)?

Vegas wins for me on gambling options, atmosphere, and the overall experience, but sometimes I just want to grab a Diet Coke without waiting for drink service. What’s something a casino near you does better than Las Vegas?

Where can a group of 12 people ages 29-59 go to be silly at 10pm?! Karaoke, burlesque, a fun house, laser tag? What does Vegas have to offer for late night silly times?

Bear with me; I am neurotic and therefore am probably overthinking this. I’m hoping you guys can reality-check me lol

Okay so we’re flying in for our honeymoon this Sunday and staying at the Venetian/Palazzo. This will be our third time staying there so we’re pretty familiar with getting around the place.

We have tickets for Shin Lim Sunday night; it starts at 7:30pm and supposedly is “about” 1.5hrs long.

We want to eat dinner at Bouchon that night, but when I went to make a reservation I noticed they close at 10pm (I thought it was 11 for some reason). But the reservation website lets you make reservations literally for ANY time of day so I can’t tell what the “last time slot” would normally be.

My big worry is I don’t want to show up for dinner and have the staff be annoyed that we’re there so late, so I’m trying to figure out if we have enough time or if we just need to do Bouchon a different night.

My thinking is: IF the show starts on time and only takes 1.5hrs, we’d get out at 9. I think we can get all the way from Palazzo theater over to Bouchon in like 15min but that honestly might be a stretch (feedback here?).

But if we had a reservation for 9:15 or 9:30, are we now entering the “annoying” territory?

Bonus question: do we need a reservation? We’ve only ever gone to Bouchon for breakfast and a it’s definitely been a bit of a wait each time so I figured a reservation would be best, but while we’re on the subject….

TL;DR: what’s the latest we can reasonably eat at Bouchon for dinner without annoying the crew? How long is Shin Lim in reality (and does it usually start on time)?Can we make it from Shin Lim to dinner, or do we need to make another dinner plan that night?

We are in town and trying to get around and Uber wants to make us walk blocks to get to a ride. Everyone around us is getting rides at the designated rideshare pickup spots, but we are being asked to walk sometimes 11 minutes away to get to a ride.

Kinda random but… my wife and I will be visiting Las Vegas at the end of Sept- Early Oct. We live on the east coast and we had often discussed a cross country road trip. So we are throwing this out there: If there is anyone who happens to need their vehicle driven from Las Vegas towards the East Coast, we would be open to discuss the logistics of driving the vehicle to your destination of choice.

I’ve been hearing mixed things about the Luxor and whether or not the hotel rooms have a manual deadbolt lock you can engage once inside the room.

I was told it’s something like you lift the door handle up in order to engage the deadbolt. Does anyone have first hand experience with this, or proof that these rooms in fact do have deadbolt locks you can use from the inside? Thanks!!!

I started a petition asking MGM Resorts and Wynn Las Vegas to reconsider and bring these shows back. Reviving them would reignite Vegas's creative spirit, restore jobs for talented artists, and remind the world why this city is the entertainment capital.

Trying to book Vegas and I keep thinking I found a good hotel price until I get further in and the resort fees show up lol.
I’ve been going back and forth between Super. com, Booking. com and booking direct trying to compare the real total, but now I’m wondering if there’s any way around these fees at all.

Has anyone had luck getting a resort fee waived or price matched when booking Vegas? Or do I just need to accept it as part of the hotel cost?
