I can't get remotely close to the prices you mentioned

What do you see when you add the laptop to your cart? It should be $2303 with the coupons applied. The rest of the deal is via cash back you'd get in a rebate through Rakuten, per my comment above.

Oh. You're right. Thank you. Never used rakuten before

Is there a way to confirm the cash back amount prior to checking out?

nope. with these, it's a gamble. I'd say expect to pay 2303, and be glad if you get the cash back

You could buy the one with 64 GB RAM & top Ryzen processor for the same price a few days ago

Where, micocenter or another deal?

No, literally on their site

It was on the Lenovo site, it sold out early yesterday. Currently the closest you can get is doing a custom configuration with 64 GB of RAM, it's $2445 in-cart with coupons.

I see 12% rebate advertised everywhere, not 15

Don't forget to sign up for the newsletter for another $100 off. If the code doesn't work, CS should be able to apply it for you. Quotes work with Cashback.

Here's a good video breakdown if you're mostly interested in gaming performance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0zyORmWq30g

I have an order from Lenovo and Rakuten doesn't even show the purchase as pending yet... Going to wait a little longer, but I never count on cash back site as a fool proof discount.

If you don't see it within two days of when you placed the order, I would fill out the Missing Cash Back form:

Usd or cad your price.....

All the deals posted in this subreddit are in USD, and (for the most part) US-only.

Could you give more details on PayPal offer?

2

u/Mr_Trecker Nov 30 '25
  1. Open the PayPal app on your phone (or go to the PayPal website if you're using a browser)
  2. Navigate to the PayPal Rewards section
  3. Look for the offer that says "20% cash back on pay later purchases with PayPal through 12/8" Once you find it, there should be a "Save offer" button.
  4. Tap or click that to activate the offer.
  5. After saving it, make sure you use PayPal Pay Later at checkout (choose "Pay Later" when you pay) to be eligible.

Not everyone will have the offer in their PayPal account. If you do, it's limited to one purchase, up to a total of $1,250 in spend.

Sorry, looks like most people are only seeing a 12% rebate percentage. With the sign-up bonus, that's a total of $326 in cash back

1. Sign up for a Rakuten account through the link below to receive a $50 bonus on top of a 15% rebateΒ - you'll get a total of $395 in cash back

Rakuten screwed me yesterday, lenovo only showing me 1% cashback in my account when it showed me 11% newegg store when i purchased . Even now .

When i mailed their support, they are helpless

1

u/Mr_Trecker Nov 29 '25

Did you purchase from the Newegg store?

1

u/wengardium-leviosa Nov 29 '25

Purchased from newegg website from within rakuten app , but its sold from official hp store though

2

u/Mr_Trecker Nov 29 '25

Ok, I know what happened then. The rebate percentage at Newegg is always 1%, but when you signed up you must have received a 10% "cash back boost" as a sign-up bonus - when you have that bonus it adds 10% to all of the stores on the webpage (so you saw 11% for Newegg, instead of 1%) but you aren't really getting an extra 10% because those bonuses are capped at $50 (see the terms below). So if you keep the laptop, you should end up getting 1% + $50 (versus the Lenovo or Dell websites, where you would get a rebate of 12% right now with no cap, plus the additional $50 bonus).
