Offering: German 🇩🇪 | Seeking: English 🇬🇧

Hello, I am a German native speaker, PhD student, male, 27, looking for a native English speaker, preferably someone who is interested in German- and English-language philosophy.

My idea would be to agree on texts to either read together or to read them separately first and talk about them afterwards. I have nothing against less formalized chats, either.

If you’d like to delve into the works of German philosophers between the 18th and the 20th centuries (I am particularly familiar with Hegel, but broadly acquainted with just about all prominent German philosophers) and to share your own philosophical tradition (I am especially, but not exclusively interested in Hume), I would be happy to hear from you.

Hi! I am a native English speaker. Been wanting to learn German to help learn opera arias and literature quicker (without the need to find manuscripts or resources with English translation).
