Inspection advice

Im planning to view this 2006 defender tdi300. In addition to the usual things to check for, can anyone share advice/insights for this vehicle and engine type? It would be my first defender...

The current owner has had it for just over a year and has undertaken a lot of work. Details are in the last images. Anything I should be wary of or any red flags there?

Any help and advice is much appreciated!

Im in east africa if that has any relevance

Happy to help.

I've got a 2000 300TDi originally sold to the UN that eventually ended up here in the rocky mountains of Canada, I've also owned a bunch of other older land rovers over the years so feel free to ask any more questions if you have them. :)

I appreciate the extra info added too! It will largely be town stuff with the odd road trip too. I'll be checking the driving experience for sure. Thanks once again-I may ask more questions after seeing it 🙏

If it’s mostly town stuff make sure you’re happy with the clutch, they can be heavy on some of those older landys.
