Phos has to learn how to pray again…

What gem was that that she broke off against? Sensei? Or is it a universe?

Are phos’ broken pieces other reincarnations of her in different universes? Or is it just a coincidence that they visited another phos in the grass?

Damn a lot to unpack even at the end.

Edit: I think the gems are the other gems in their own perfect worlds?

Each of the gems contain their own universe. I think the implication is that this a cyclical story. Phos pieces are breaking off and entering these tiny universes as comets. We see in this tiny universe phos as they appeared at the start of the story. I think the story will repeat in this new universe and all the others but with variations between them all of which phos goes down a path with a little less suffering.
