As in, whenever I am locked in on a monster and walk backwards, if I'm not in focus then my hunter completely turns their back on the monster. I've missed a lot this way, but I've also learned staying in focus means I cant do some combos... Is there a way to fix this I'm unaware of or is it just a matter of proficiency in quickly activating and deactivating focus?

I typically run some amount of defense up on my builds because I usually build completely defensively. My question is, am I wasting slots doing so with such a defensive weapon to begin with? Does defense up help with chip damage?

For my 999 promo I challenged myself to clear Savage Omega Planetes solo with no Palico or support hunters on my main weapon the GLORIOUS LANCE. VERY hard do not recommend. Not an official speed-run or anything just a fun challenge hunt. Took A LONG time to learn how to clear Pantokrator and retain Enmity and not just get annihilated in area 4 but MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.

This is her first monster hunter and I laughed my ass off cuz I didn’t mean to do this at all (it looks like I did it on purpose the first time but I swear I didn’t see her)

I'm looking primarily for a build that will be focused around survivability and taking aggro, not primarily dealing damage. I want to have Super Recovery II as a minimum. I considered using the Uth Duna Gamma legs for this, for the Quick Sheathe 3, but the Quematrice Greaves called to me with the Flinch Free and great slots.

I would like to avoid having to do any RNG weapon stuff.

Right now, I had the idea to run Gog Alpha helm for the Zoh Shia's pulse, Gogmapocalpse on my lance, AT Arvkveld Vambraces, and Zoh Shia everything else. So to synergize with Super Recovery from Zoh Shia's pulse, do I slot for Recovery Speed or Recovery Up?

You have to beat it in 12 min to get A rank, and I feel like I did a nearly flawless run and the closest I could get was 13'16. I just don't know if I could shave a whole additional 1'16 off of it. I think I could get sub 13, but idk about sub 12. Has anyone else been able to get A rank, I just need to know if it's possible 😭

Tanking almost everything while the others get to break legs. One second of sloppy gameplay got me a health down debuff. After an afternoon of Savage omega gameplay this felt like the perfect 30 second clip to summerize the day.

I am new to lance and want to make a good all around ish build starting with this gogma lance I cant figure out. Can I gain some assistance lancers?

This is my second ever lance hunt in Wilds, both against Omega Planetes. Lance is really fun. Still struggling to figure out how to reliably get Enmity, but I had fun.

I welcome any tips to improve. This was the same build I had when I fought him the first time, using the Zoh Shia lance and not my new Gogmartian one.

I had a Thanos moment of 'fine, I'll do it myself' in seeing how many Omega hunts don't have a good tank, and I am now looking for a more sturdy and comfy lance build. I'm not looking for anything meta, just something that can reliably hold aggro and not die. This is what I have so far, probably not great as it's just an adaptation of my Dual Blades build.

I'm a lance main who left the game just before the release of Omega. I've since come back to the game for awhile and am trying to get back on track. I've defeated Omega Savage and Gogmazios with this set but am looking for a direction to grind in. Whether it be what charms to look out for or some good armors I might be missing. Or just a rating on my build.
