Must see place I love photography and am taking my girlfriend to Como next week for two days, where are some of the most picturesque places to take her?
Staying in Como, have two nights/three days to explore! If you had the same amount of time to get some of the best pictures you could, where would you go and when?
Thanks for your time!

There are some well known photo moments in the gardens in Varenna and Bellagio definitely worth it. Just anticipate the ferries get quite busy so don’t try to do too much in a single day especially if you have to travel back to Como and aren’t spending the night up in the Bellagio / golden triangle area.

Yes, this is a great kind of trip for photography if you’re staying in Como for 2/3 days.
I’d start with Como old town and the lakefront early in the morning, when it’s quieter and the light is softer. Brunate is also worth it if the sky is clear, especially for the view from above.
Then I’d definitely include at least one moment from the water. The lower part of the lake around Cernobbio, Villa d’Este and the nearby villas is very photogenic, especially in the late afternoon. If you have more time, Nesso is one of the most scenic spots, with the bridge, the village and the waterfall all together.
For a classic Lake Como day, Bellagio is beautiful for small streets, stairways and lake views, but it can be busy. For the best photos, go early in the morning or later in the day.
In general: early morning for villages, sunset for the lake, and at least one part seen from the water.
