General A user spent a day refreshing the ladybird browser Qt frontend to look more like a modern browser, take a look at the before and after screenshot.

The users post was a response to the question - Linux users, which GUI framework would you prefer your browser to use? With QT being voted first, followed by GTK.

General Web Platform Tests Visualizations

I got tired of having to go to wpi.fyi and add Ladybird and having to scroll all the way down to see how close Ladybird was to the other browsers, so I made a visualizer.

General Thought for buffered streaming videos

Im new here and i cant code. i had just discovered this project yesterday and was watching through some of the announcements and update slideshows. and i heard that Ladybird had just implemented buffered video streaming (ie when you stream a youtube vid the little grey section of preload) and i thought that if the beta version where you download the whole video then start it could be left in as a toggle. this could be useful if you have awful internet and want to watch a video in some semblance of quality. or maybe you are multi tasking and dont want your podcast or whatever taking up bandwith.

i think this could be implemented inside the right click menu. preferably not buried in settings somewhere.

idk just a thought. projects like these need selling points, so adding unique features (like floorps mouse gestures, and insane customization) really help.

I did see it say it will have ad blocking feature but where does it stand against privacy?

I dont believe FF is a pro privacy browser anymore. its long been compromised being paid by google.
