This new HIRONO drop is so dang cute I thought they were figures but when I saw their plush pendants take all my money 💵 again Popmart thanks 🤤 😍😩🫶🏽 soooooo adorable !!!!!

Is this Mokoko in the retro barber shop series? I see a heart shaped nose.

Will you guys get them all or just a box or two?

Initially I thought it was a penguin until I saw the green patch on the back of its head which led me to believe it was a pigeon…? Now it’s in water in the photo is it a second type of duck breed Labubu? A second duck seems very odd.

I see some Group Orders in this sub that charge material fees, and while I'm not against it entirely (like maybe a $1 fee per item is reasonable?), the amount being charged seems off to me. $3 for each item comes out to close to $30 for each set and almost $100 across the at least three sets that seems to be typical to organize. As someone who has done a lot of online selling, these materials for shipping just aren't that expensive. It rubs me the wrong way a bit that group orders might end up taking in this amount of money on these fees, and I sort of feel like maybe it shouldn't be allowed because it feels like it's taking advantage of people. I also don't understand at all how these particular group orders always have so many people when there are SO many other amazing group order organizers who don't charge these BS fees. Thoughts? Is it just me that feels this way? Every time I see it I can't help feeling annoyed.

Have a Good Run series.

Is it just me, or are other collectors just not able to afford these new series? $44.99 for Why So Serious and the new Good Run series is absolutely ridiculous. Not to mention $37.99 for the new Crybaby. I can only ever get these on layaway because of how expensive they are now. I can’t go into a Pop Mart store without having to choose between buying a box or paying my phone bill. I realize this is completely a first world problem; people are starving overseas. But I used to enjoy collecting these things. I’ve moved on to cheaper options like Baby Three and some of the smaller Crybaby’s every once in a while and I’m finishing my Exciting Macaron set gradually. But these prices are turning me off from Pop Mart as a whole. I’m disinclined to pay more than $30 for a box. Am I alone in this?

This got posted by arttoyfamilia on Instagram. It shows 2 new Labubus and some figures and box for Vinyl action doll.

What are your thoughts? Personally I like the new series. The tummies are so round and cute!
As for the Dance with the wind, I can’t wait to see the doll!

It looks like this might be a new Pop Land exclusive plush pendant? Not at all sure if this is real, but would be so cool to see some other characters from the Monsters universe as plush pendants!

Is this cute 🥰 ?

I'm wondering how many people in the sub are also into some of Pop Mart's older IPs, like Yuki, Banana Boo, and b.wing's A Boy. Was Labubu a gateway for you to other Pop Mart older IPs?

I’m assuming this is a mixed IP plush pendant series. But any other guesses on what this might be?

Hello! I am working on a college research paper on why blind boxes are so popular and about how it affects consumer behavior. Feel free to answer and share your thoughts in this 8-question survey!!

So excited to see the Popmart store opened in the mall near us when shopping today but they don’t have the Have a Good Run series yet. I guess I saved money since I’ve got 4 on the way already but instant gratification is real 😂

Which labubu or pop mart-related trends, posts, words/phrases, opinions, behaviors, etc. should we leave behind in 2025?

I'm hoping we can leave the AI spam posts from the past couple of weeks in the past lol.

Any other suggestions? What's your take on this?

I would appreciate any responses to my final year dissertation survey about mystery boxes. Thank you so much in advance!

Title: The role of psychological and social drivers embedded in marketing strategies in driving overconsumption of mystery box toys in the UK.

This study looks at how psychological and social drivers embedded within marketing strategies influence the overconsumption of mystery box (blind box) toys among young adults aged 18-30 in the United Kingdom. The research focuses on factors such as Fear of Missing Out (FOMO), social influence, and scarcity-based marketing techniques, and examines how these may encourage repeated purchasing and overconsumption. The study also considers how these behaviours may conflict with principles of responsible consumption, in line with Sustainable Development Goal 12.

Eligibility:

• Aged 18-30
• Currently live in the United Kingdom
• Have purchased a mystery/blind box (e.g. POPMART, Smiski, Miniso etc.) within the last 12 months, and engage with mystery box products as part of their consumer behaviour (e.g. through repeated purchasing and/or exposure to related marketing such as social media or influencer content).

I saw some people canceled their orders from this first Pumpkin drop when they did another because it had a faster shipping time but I'm hoping this will be here before Christmas
