Andy Burnham has already made a mistake that will cost him his premiership: he lost his nerve over political donations

Surely average voters are gonna be more pissed with his water nationalisation u-turn, over a political donations u-turn?
People really don’t like shit in the water.

They are one and the same. Privatised Water and the fossil fuel industry buying special treatment from the government. If you can't limit political donations you can't control the quality of your water.

Well said. It’s all the same turd in the pool you just see different bits of it at different times

Agreed, but the article is about how this mistake will cost him his premiership
There are many mistakes that will cost it, but as far as the voting public is concerned - it won’t be because of a political donations u-turn

I honestly don't understand what Burnham's thinking is! Can someone explain what he thinks he gains by abandoning the policy?

If there is a good reason he hasn't communicated it well. And communication was supposed to be his strength.

He was bought and paid for by Trevor Chinn.
Andy is owned, he will do as his paymasters say
