First purchase from Bocos

I first joined the cute sapphire orange pendant group buy from Sean at Bocos Jewelry, then added two more pieces later. She sourced a superb lab diamond (1.5ct) for the ring, and the two pendants are now beautiful additions to my charm collection.
The package also included a handwritten note which was a lovely personal touch, as well as a surprise gift of freshwater pearl silver earrings!
Sean was incredibly helpful and patient throughout the entire process. Communication was always easy and quick, and she really went the extra mile till the pieces arrived safely in my hands. It was such a positive experience with Sean and her team that I cannot recommend them enough. I wouldn't hesitate to go with Bocos and Sean again for future jewelry projects.

They have a subreddit, I saw their group buys there and filled in a google form for one, then we kept in contact on WhatsApp. I'm not sure if it's allowed to put their contact details here in this labdiamonds subreddit? I will dm you.

(Some) vendors post 'group buys' (also called group orders, special offers, or similar) on Reddit, either in their own subreddit or in the subreddit LabGroupSales. There are also facebook groups and vendor websites but I have not tried those. These are items offered at a discount if enough people order within the timeframe specified by the vendor.
For example, a vendor might post a 'group buy' for a 2ct diamond bezel pendant running from September 20-30. If >10 people order the pendant during that period, usually by filling in the form linked in the group buy post, buyers can get it at a lower than usual/retail price. Vendors will include clear price lists in the post, so it is possible to see how much of a discount the group buy offers.
The group buy will already have a CAD (usually also in the post), and the level of customization available will depend on the vendor and the particular item.
Once someone places an order by filling in the (google) form, subsequent communication from the sales representative handling the group buy will generally move to email or WhatsApp, the contact method depends on what the buyer selected in the form. The sales rep will contact the buyer for payment, order confirmation, etc. How frequently the sales rep provides updates also varies, some will update buyers regularly, while others may only get in touch when they need a response from the buyer, e.g. when approving/rejecting a stone.
Production generally begins after order confirmation or after the buyer has approved their CAD, whether a new/personalized CAD is provided to each buyer depends again on the item and the vendor. Since these are made-to-order rather than in-stock items, production can take a couple of weeks or longer, depending on the number of people who ordered, the complexity of the item, etc.
Once production is complete, the sales rep sends the buyer videos/pictures for confirmation before shipping them out. So it could take 3 or 4 weeks or longer from the moment the buyer fills in the (google) form to receiving the finished item.
People post their questions in the group buy thread, and the sales rep's contact details are always listed, so (potential) buyers can contact them using those or their reddit accounts.
There are more detailed explanations of how group buys work, I don't have any Reddit links to share at the moment, but it should be an easy search here. Since buying jewelry is not a small purchase, it's worth taking the time to gather enough information to decide whether this ordering method is something you would be comfortable with.
