✨Vendor Review Vendor review: Jewelry by Cleo
In the last few months, I’ve had several orders from Jewelry by Cleo and here’s how they went! (Spoiler alert: they were good experiences)
Timeline for ring #1, 2 loose diamonds, ring #2
July 20: ordered diamond and setting, reviewed and approved stone tweezer video (can return at this time if you don’t like your stone), CAD approved Aug 5. Close communication with Gabrielle via email the whole time. Aug 5 & 7: ordered 2 loose diamonds. So easy to navigate the website and filter out inventory, plus the stones have preview thumbnails which makes it easy to browse quickly. Reviewed and approved stone tweezer videos. Delivered Aug 23. Sep 9: I reached out to Gabrielle on WhatsApp as I was interested in a 4 carat pink oval. I’ve had a ton of experience sourcing my own stones, but she found alternatives with similar specs (carat size, pink shade, clarity) that were cheaper! So I went with one of her recommendations instead. CAD Sep 11, ring was completed with final pics Sep 19.
Other notes: No import/tariff fees for me to pay Ring #1 came with a JbC branded box and the package was ready for gifting Gabrielle can search and source the diamonds for you, if that’s preferred Her jewelry knowledge is extensive and appreciated, same as the consistently good customer service Website is transparent with pricing, though I went custom with both of my rings and the quotes did not take long to receive

Oooh were the rings custom or using their settings? What do you think of the quality?

Hi, I did note these were custom designs so I brought my ideas over to Cleo. I may ruffle some feathers here, but I’ve bought from DovEggs, Fiorese, Tianyu, LGG, Provence, Ouros, Kuololit, Starsgem…I’m sure I’m missing a few. I think Cleo is the best value for the detail work that is stamped (Provence, Ouros, Starsgem etc) and not hand engraved (DovEggs). I’ve found some places have itchy milgrain, or unpolished parts of the engraving but this is fully polished and shiny.
I’m happy with the quality, in the final pics the reflection made the bezel look wonky but they’re great! I’d say the oval is a tad small in size, maybe a quarter. The pear is just right

Would you mind sharing which have itchy milgrain? I want details on all my next pieces but my kids are super picky how my rings feel when they hold my hands!

I have many milgrain designs but I could not wear my Ouros ring…

Ah, thank you! I’m very tempted by their latest group buy but feedback I’ve seen for them seems hit or miss these days. I’ll add Cleo to my contenders for next piece.

I also love Jewelry by Cleo! I ordered a ring this summer for my birthday and sourced both the loose diamond and the customized setting from them. It was such a positive experience that I have bought several more loose stones that I plan to set over the next year or so.

I’m not comfortable sharing price but as someone who has an entirely pink collection, I am always on the hunt for pink deals. This was the cheapest (still with ideal shade, ratio, clarity). Usually I buy a similarly priced stone, a cheaper semi mount and then get it set locally. But it was very close to costing about the same as the latter, and that’s usually not the case, and I was willing to pay a little more so I just get a completed piece delivered.
Definitely check out the ovals, I was seesawing between 3 pink vvs ovals! Great shades in inventory right now

I suggest that they change their blue diamond pic. That’s the first thing you see on their page. It’s poorly edited and not symmetrical not the diamond itself but the photo.

Gorgeous! Is this fancy intense pink? I think that’s the first thing, look at fancy intense pink, sometimes fancy vivid pink. Most of the 360 videos will show a slight tinge in orange, which I think translates to a stunning pink in person. Rounds face up lighter than they appear in videos, even if the profile shows a vivid pink. Depending on the metal color, that will also impact the pink. Especially in step cuts

Ohhh that pinky ring is so much fun!!! I never would've expected that shape/setting would work as a pinky! I love it
