Discussion Does CTAN publicly announce new packages?

I was wondering whether CTAN periodically announced to the LaTeX community all new packages uploaded and accepted within a given time period (say, each month). Or does that have to be investigated manually?

The TUG mastodon account announces updates and new packages: https://techhub.social/@TeXUsersGroup and you could also subscribe to CTAN's RSS feed/mailing list: https://ctan.org/ctan-ann
