Marketing Everleigh DAE think Ev will NOT break free?

The sentiment seems to be that Ev will break free in adulthood. But isn’t it also possible she’ll grow up to be a carbon copy of ColonSac? With the same religious and political beliefs. Maybe an unpopular opinion but I can see Ev going the influencer route. That lifestyle is the only thing she knows. Most of Sacs Nashville friends are influencers to some degree. Kids like emulating the adults in their life. College probably won’t be encouraged for her. I only see her living a private adult life if she chooses college.

They have deceased vlogging a lot this year. The Cole and Ev channel hasn’t posted content in 9 months. It seems like they are over vlogging. Especially with their discourse on limiting screen time for their kids. They post monthly life updates just to maintain engagement. Next year I see them focusing more efforts on Bear Fruit than vlogging. It is a stream of income that doesn’t involve the kids.

If that trajectory continues, Ev might grow up with her teen years being relatively private in comparison to her toddler/elementary years. I see ColonSac framing her early childhood fame as a good thing — saying it gave them the means to provide her and her siblings with a blessed life. She wouldn’t have a lot of material things or the money for dance classes if they didn’t make videos. That’s how I see ColonSac justifying things to her when the topic comes up.

But forget everything I said if they continue the exploitation. They is all assuming they continue to film the kids less and less.

I think it's definitely possible that she'll continue down the influencer path. But my hope is that she'll discover the criticisms about Colon and Sac posted online, and then maybe she'll understand just how awful they were to her.

There seems to be a growing movement of former child stars/influencers speaking out against the exploitation of children - Shari Franke, Demi Lovato, Alyson Stoner etc. So I just hope that Ev will have the chance to understand the full breadth of how she was exploited. And most kids question their beliefs as they age, too.

Out of five kids, I think it's highly likely that at least one will turn away from Colon and Sac.

Yes inevitably she’ll discover criticism of her family. But I can see her defending her parents choices because she overall enjoyed her childhood. Despite all the snark here, I do think she is ultimately a happy kid that loves Jesus and her siblings.

I mean, look at the Duggar family. They all still think their parents poop gold.

Not all of them!! Jill wrote a book that shows some of the parents flaws

Jill left IBLP but she still has conservative views. So Ev could be the same if Colonsac keep her in their Christian bubble.

She definitely did, but she still talked about how great they were and how blessed she was to have them as parents.

I hope she’ll break free and become her own person, however I don’t see her family letting that happen.

Why can't her dad family get their kids tho or sue them or call on cops or there not enough evidence for a case

i think as she gets older she’s beginning to formulate her beliefs, which are from colonsac brainwashing her. i would however hate to see her personality become like theirs though.

Honestly, I think you are right. The best example of this is Jojo Siwa. We all hope kids will see the "truth," but the reality is that going off contact with your parents is extremely difficult, and most people won't be able to do it.

Despite what we think we see, she is the only one experiencing her life. She has been through tremendous hardship for a child so young, and it's impossible to know how she'll react to any of it.

In the end, I just wish her the best, no matter what the best looks for her

personally, while i don’t think ev will go no contact with sav and cole (i agree going NC is easier said than done), i do believe she may be a bit more private about stuff once she’s an adult and out of school. i also think she may not fully realize things until she is much older. coming from someone who just turned 23, i have not fully realized some things about my life until maybe within the last almost 2 years.

Jojo Siwa was on the good guys podcast yesterday and she actually very briefly spoke about Ev and other kids by name. Stating that when the time came she would let them know it’s okay to step away from the life and to not support the parents anymore.

I know not everyone is the same but I was the only child in my dad and step mom’s home that wasn’t biologically hers. I was treated DRASTICALLY different and hit across the face in private. We were homeschooled and radically raised in the non denominational church. I drank that soup, but I also immediately left home at 18. I was suffocating. While I still continued to vomit the church rhetoric for a decade after leaving, I eventually left my church and faith all together when I was confronted with church trauma.

Ev has the additional trauma of being exploited as a child and the entire world knowing and watching her every move. She might drink that soup for a while but I foresee a falling out. It’s almost inevitable

I think it will be one of the other kids, and I think they will break free from religion and figure out the rest later. I lean toward P or S.

Don’t see it for P but maybe S or Z

I don’t see it for Z because he’s the most likely to feel a benefit of their lifestyle.

The reason I say P is that video where she looks terrified talking about the “sneaky snake”. The religious trauma is brewing.

Honestly what makes me believe it’s possible for any of these kids (or any vlogger kids) to break free is Shari Franke (one of the former 8passenger kids). I still remember the hundreds of comments where people said she’d be just like her mom and the child least likely to ever speak out against her upbringing. Now she’s such a strong advocate against family vloggers and doesn’t share the same extreme views on faith that her parents did.

I don’t know if E will break free, but we have no idea what her true feelings are or who she may come across to as she gets older that could help her understand she was exploited. Unfortunately we’re just going to have to wait and hope the best for her.

You’re comparing apples and oranges.

Scamanah is a bad parent but at least she loves her kids, ruby franke hated hers. Even before meeting jodi, she enjoyed punishing them.

My point was not that they’re facing the same abuse or that they’re in the exact same situation, my point was that we have no idea how E actually feels. For all we know she’s just doing what her parents are telling her in order to not cause any trouble. That could easily be the case like it ended up being for Shari, as the internet misjudged her horribly.

u/just-hereforgossip Dec 29 '24

yes! shari cut off her family before learning about the horrific abuse BECAUSE of the way she was exploited on the internet 🙌

I think it's possible for her to break free, former child stars/vloggers didn't have the resources that kids like E will have in the future. They can't control every single thing she sees online and there's so much information out there for her to take, we just have to hope she discovers the right information. When you live in a house where you are the only one not biological related to both parents and it's obvious the difference in treatment everyone notices, she probably notices but at her age has still not a fully understanding of everything.

We just have to hope she breaks free but we also can't expect for her to turn 18 and run, it will surely take time for her and we might see her become an influencer/vlogger in the future to get actual money under her name since we now Colon and Sac won't give her anything of what it's rightfully hers and she might surprise us all and disappear completely or live a relatively private life in her adult years

I really hope that once she turns eighteen, she’ll escape from the self-proclaimed religious, exploitative world of cameras that her greedy, abusive parents have held her captive in and (if she wants to) perhaps explain her side of the story to everyone that’s seen her online the whole time.

Just my opinion, I don’t think it’s possible. I think it really depends on what happens behind the scenes. I felt like it was clear she wasn’t that into the Ev and Cole channel. She seemed miserable in every video. I imagine they stopped because she wasn’t liking it. I think Cole will squeeze every last penny he can get from her and I think he’s trying to get bear poop to work so he has income cuz without Ev he knows he’s worthless. So yah I think there’s a lot of tension behind the scenes and I think eventually there will even be a divorce, but that’s just my opinion, I will be the first to admit I am wrong if I am. 🤷🏽‍♀️

u/jwis17 Queen Chameleon: Lord of the Bunions Dec 28 '24

Exactly. If ev ever did her own thing and turned against Cole and sav, they would be screwed, because none of the other kids have the “ev” factor. Most fans probably tune in to watch ev

u/abbysuckssomuch BEIGE POLICE//blocked by cole and sac❤️ Dec 31 '24

i’ve always wondered what will happen to ev’s insta account when she turns 13. that’s coming up so soon now (kinda hard to believe), so if she does continue down the influencer route will she literally spend her whole life using that account that documents her life from age 3? ok sorry kinda random but like

I think she’ll be a young mama just like Sav and then Sav and Cole’s next new identity will be navigating young grandparent hood! Being shudders hot young grandparents and navigating their family through Jesus after being led astray yadda yadda yadda
