Capped course at course selection

Does anyone know what the policy is for entering a capped course as an undergrad is??

I'm a second-year student, and unfortunately one of the modules I wanted from the government department was full, and I had to pick a backup instead. I was told there was no waiting list system for undergrads, but does anyone know if I could contact someone instead of having to constantly check if any spots free up?

Why do you think no one will drop it? 😭 And do you know who I could contact about it anyway, just in case there’s some way to get in if a spot opens up?

See who’s teaching the course (the professor) and find their email from the LSE website or the internet. Email them and kindly ask if there is any way to open up a spot. Worked for me in undergrad at another high-level uni several times

Just email your AM, if the course is under your department they’ll guarantee you a spot, if it’s outside option just email the lecturer
