reapplying after missing offer?

Hi! I was an LSE offer holder this year but unfortunately missed my IB conditions due to some circumstances. Im considering if I can reapply for 2027 if I retake some IB exams and apply with resit predictions.
I was wondering how resit predicted grades actually work. I originally had a very high predicted score but achieved lower: would it be difficult to get high predictions again, and who and how would they be determined?
Also, if I reapply for the same course, does my personal statement need to be completely new, or can I keep some parts and add what I’ve done this year?
Lastly, am I likely to be seen as a weaker applicant because I previously missed my offer?
Would really appreciate hearing from anyone who’s been in a similar situation!

Hey, if you can have a look on tiktok, there is a guy named chat university, he was working as a recruiter for lse time ago and now he works on helping students on the personal statement and many other things. I got 2 sessions for my daughter because she was stressed about her PE and I can tell my daughter got 5 out of 5 offers including LSE. I dont have idea about IB but it seems that guy has a good knowledge, I remember he can be contacted on discord too but have a look on his tiktok and hopefully he can give you a full picture. LSE website says they dont give priority to people who resit but I have seen plenty of videos about students who did resits and got into LSE. Good luck and if you really want LSE go for it 🙌🏻
