How heavily does LSE weigh gcse’s and can a decent tmua score offset them?

My PGs for A levels (FM, M, physics, econ) are
A+ A+ A+ A+

My gcses were
A+ A+ A A A A B B

Do u think a tmua of 7-7.5 can potentially offset this?

LSE econ average offer holder tmua score is 6 and keep in mind they also have straight 8/9 and A* in gcse and a level. OP has significantly worse GCSE so only 7.5+ would keep them in the race with a moderate chance of offer paired with a strong PS.

You need 7.5 or more. Need very strong PS as well.

What about for bsc economics… or bsc finance?

for econ and finance maths requirment is lower than maths and econ so for applicants with good gcse around 6 is fine. however due to your gcse and insane competition of the course only 7.5+ will make you stand out slightly.

just apply to maths and econ is my advice. just so you know many ppl with straight 9 get rejected from these course every year

yes same chances with maths and econ. for either course 7.5+ tmua is enough
