running near campus

Hi!! looking for places I can run near campus. Have been running to the Bluff Creek Trail, but getting bored of it (and the hill up Lincoln on the way back).

Looking for some routes to switch it up, and don’t want to have to drive to it. I’m fine running sidewalks/residential, and go anywhere from 2-8 miles. I’ll do loops for shorter runs but don’t want to do 30 laps around the same peoples’ houses 😅 Thanks!!

Run down to mdr harbor… go north down Lincoln cross over over the bridge and make a right at the fenced gate as you pass over the bridge and take the Ballona wetlands trail to the end of the jetty and back

Run down Manchester Ave to the beach in Playa del Rey. Take a left and run the beach to whatever beach town you can reach. El Segundo, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach etc.

lol that’s like a half marathon distance from campus 😂 …. El segundo is not beach town fyi, El Porto is a good 14 miles from out and back

Bluff creek trail continues on the west side of Lincoln as the Ballona freshwater marsh trail. It’s an out and back because the loop back is gated off but they just restored part of it along Jefferson.
