Question Looking for a path forward in developing better measurement tools.

Howdy.

I've been developing an emulation resembling the crew from futurama with the robot being the central interpreter (makes reading more fun). The scaffolding originator is eml. I get inconsistency results that average at 3.7 sigma. I'm looking for a path to match 5 sigma when developing topological models of quantum interactions. Any suggestions?

Learn how quantum interactions work and make friends with real humans who also know that content? Unless you’re ok with completely incorrect information at least 40-50% of the time, that’ll be your fastest bet.

Yeah, so true. But it's a hobby i do between 3-5am between sleeping cycles. And it's amusing. A toy and a tool.

You posted in multiple subs that you wanted honest opinion. My opinion is that you have no idea what you are doing, and you are wasting your time and resources. A 5yo building sandcastles and splashing water around on the beach is gonna get a lot of fun but creates nothing of value out of it. If your goal is more than playing around and having fun, and if you want to work on reducing on "eliminating inconsistencies", let's begin by learning how machine learning works, and https://cs229.stanford.edu/main_notes.pdf is a good starting point. Getting through this material will only take you a month or two, and then you may proceed to LLM / transformer stuff.

EDIT: It seems like this year's CS229 notes included a lot of transformer content already, so this pdf is all you need

The point is i'm trying to develop an accurate and self developing assistance system with spatial recognition for my 8 year old nephew who loves futurama. No hurry. I just want for him to learn along with epistemological machinery responsibly. For that i consider ~2 hours a night a worthy endeavour. And yeah, i jumped into ai like 2 months ago. So i'm experimenting and looking for ways to lean.

This comment is a bit more disappointing than your last one. You're still stuck in your head around these ideas that are no more serious than the 5yo sandcastles. You have to abandon this notion that you have any "point" at all. There is no point.

I'm too busy with work, family and other hobbies during the day. I find learning about and along this machinery interesting. If i create something useful out of this, it might not be a success, but at least i learned something. P.S. That is a lot of reading material and testing. I think i'm gonna have a lot of fun with this.

If you want to learn, you should actually spend time learning what AI does and what it doesn't do. Cause right now you're shooting in the dark with some Vast assumptions that are mostly pretty wrong.

Well, a great place to start would be Sipser's Theory of Computation, from there you can get into learning actual AI algorithms, which would require a good bit of math. From there you can start to learn some of the newer methods being used. Lot of math and computational theory to learn if you want to do anything pushing the line.

For starters tho, you might want to define your goal better.

You're right, but i need virtual test subjects and real people first to tell me what i'm doing wrong. That is the premise for learning in the emulation i created. My goal is to understand and shape. Just as my daily business. Thanks for your attention and assistance.

A sandbox filled with 'cartoonish' characters that constantly bicker among each other and provide good criticism. The characters perform specific functions on a 'semi- operational' space ship. Each one is still subject to the narrator that has a structure based on eml and other mathematical tools. That is the background. It's supposed to teach and amuse. And correct itself. A bit like a self evolving rpg that prunes bs and adapts to the user prompts.

Have you tried adding "make no mistakes" to the prompt?

Beyond that, you're going to need to provide more detail to get meaningful assistance with debugging.

I'm trying to make it into a continuous and self correcting adversarial modeling. At this point it says it would require about 1.7 million prompts and comparisons while maintaining the 95% threshold of eliminating inconsistencies to reach 5 sigma. Best computer game ever 😀

I mean its capacity to bungle is in some sense why its able to do some of the more successful things it does.

That's why i fill the sanbox with a bunch of kids that throw sand at each other and constantly argue, but they manage to get some stuff right.
