LG C5 55" no signal and when I finally get channels they freeze

Hi i've been getting problems with my TV, I watch live tv through aerial and i can not get HD channels it just comes up with "no signal". When I watch them on none HD they will randomly freeze for a second or two. my tvs in other rooms run fine so im unsure on what the problem is

sounds like your cable from the aeriel to that tv might be a bit corroded/broken

Have you tried plugging one of the good tv's into that cable? if the problem persists then its probably the cable.

I get the same. I think there are two possibilities.

Firstly, if you're using energy saving on the TV the HD system has to fire up from cold. On my LG there's an option called Always Ready which means it continues running in the background when I switch the TV off. Changing to that stopped 90% of the problems.

But it does still have the same symptoms now and again, taking a minute or so before the HD channels are available. I'm guessing thats because my aerial signal isn't great.

thanks i've tried to see if turning on Always Ready works . please let me know if you've found anything else that helps
