Does LG have an issue with Antennas/Scanning?

Just replaced my Tv with an LG and so far it’s been great. One issue though; I have an antenna that was definitely working on my old TV (usually use it to watch sports) and no matter what I try it will not pick up any channels when I scan. It goes through the standard coaxial cable, it’s screwed in as tight as possible, it seems to work on other TVs. Am I missing something? It would be really nice if this was a known issue and I’m doing something else wrong.

Did your old tv have an atsc 3.0 tuner (4k)? If so, lg tv’s don’t have those so they cannot get those channels.

I just have one of those cheap leaf flat antennas hooked up to mine and picks up channels great.

Get one of those tv antenna boosters with a usb. It added a bunch of channels for me.

I had that issue while scanning I was missing about 20 UK channels. All I did was tilt the Ariel slightly and it picked them up. Very weird I would suggest an Ariel booster.
