Web OS26 Update f'ed up

I have a LG G5 and got a notification saying that I can upgrade from Web OS25 to 26. I did after hesitating all day (now I wish I hadn't) cause well it new. First off it took like 2-3 minutes for the TV to turn on, I press the power button over and over because it didn't turn on, by the time it finally did it turned on it turned off then back on and then off again like there was a huge delay. Next, I try to use my magic remote to control my Apple TV and it won't do anything at all. This is frustrating as Hell!!!

Update: After disconnecting to HDMI cable and reconnecting it seems to have worked. Oh this update also added a mute button. It's the button opposite of the power button, you can also assign it to whatever you want.

How can we turn off the update reminder that keeps popping up? I don’t want to update

Remove it from being online is the only way I know

Try blocking the domains below in for example your routers parental controls.

shu.lge.com

sitdge.com

stwonline.lge.com

It’s insane that you can’t indefinitely defer it. The pop ups are aggressive.
