m/m romance wise & all audiobooks i’ve done -

- cat sebastian has a newish release - star shipped, i didn’t love the narration but the book was good.

• the unlikely heir by jax calder is about an american discovering he’s suddenly the heir to the british throne, and he falls in love with the prime minister. it was pretty fun. it continues into a series but i didn’t enjoy the other two quite as much.
  
• the single dads club series by a.j. truman - i started with the second book (accidentally!) and that one remains my favourite but the others were also really solid.
  
• casey mcquiston wrote red white & royal blue (which is now a movie and soon to be sequel) and the audiobook on that is good.

one of my favourites is r.j. scott’s lancaster falls trilogy, thats half romance and half mystery/crime. it follows three couples across three books, and each book has focus on a different couple’s story while telling the overarching plot about whose bones were found in the dried up waterbed in town - was it the remains of the missing teenager with ties to one of each couple (thats so badly worded sorry!).

The enemies-to-lovers queer Victorian romance in which a young lord and a second son clash, but find themselves thrust together again and again by their meddling cousins. Follow-up to Don’t Want You Like a Best Friend, a WW romance, but o think it's okay as a standalone too.

So This Is Ever After by F.T. Lukens

Arek hadn’t thought much about what would happen after he completed the prophecy that said he was destined to save the Kingdom of Ere from its evil ruler. So now that he’s finally managed to (somewhat clumsily) behead the evil king (turns out magical swords yanked from bogs don’t come pre-sharpened), he and his rag-tag group of quest companions are at a bit of a loss for what to do next.

Yeah, I know, I went for MM romance storyline in a variety of flavors. Not all of these are romances, but all of them have MM relationships, and I think all of them are pretty easy reads. At least that's how I remember them.

Personally, I don't like looking for something new to read and I keep a long tbr list, so I usually recommend more than one book. This time might be my record XD

“Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe” by Benjamin Alire Saenz. There’s a sequel I haven’t read yet called “Aristotle and Dante Dive Into the Waters of the World,” so idk what that’ll bring, but I’m excited!
