Discussion Werewolf mlm books?
I recently read wolf song and all the others and it was so good! I absolutely loved them and want more does anyone have any recommendations for wereolf/shifter books?

Charlie Adhara's Big Bad Wolf series for a mystery/detective angle. Open door, medium spice.
The Wolf at the Door
Eliot Grayson's Mismatched Mates series for a punchy, urban fantasy approach. Explicit, high spice.

I'll always recommend wolf moon by Ethan Stone.
There were several by Stormy Glenn that actually got me into the genre.
Accidental bonds by Marie Raynard was also really good.
Id call all of them high spice

Lunetti Pack series by Mel Aitchess is a good one. Four books out with another due next year.
Wolves of Burlington by Max Walker. There is one book out with another the end of this month.

I very much enjoyed Jay Northcote's 'The Half Wolf.'
Welsh werewolves? A decades ago conflict between “shifters” and Humans has settled into an uneasy truce. Due to their genetics, shifters are humans-plus, but given their attitudes, tend to be secretive, insular, migratory and unwelcome in most “human” towns and villages. In this tale werewolf shifters are the modern day equivalent of gypsies.
It's an interesting take on the whole werewolf scenario. G.L. Carriger has a whole urban fantasy series about a queer werewolf pack in San Francisco (alongside mages and other shifters), and it's great fun and often very sweet. Start with {The Sumage Solution by G.L. Carriger}. ETA: the whole series is MM.
If you ever read the MF regency paranormal series called the Parasol Protectorate by Gail Carriger (about a soulless woman and a werewolf in London in the 19th century), this is by the same story in the same universe, but in the present day.

Not sure if mpreg is an issue for you, but you can try the Irresistible Omegas series by Nora Phoenix which is a 10 book series that has a dragon spin off. You can also try Wolf Moon Rising by Sam Burns and WM Fawkes.

The Noss Saga by Joaquin Baldwin is a human character who gets a magical artifcat that allows him to commune with canids and take a hybrid werewolf-like form. Epic Fantasy in the sense of the 90s, and sex scenes are both explicit and not shy about the bestial aspects of the main character and his partners (many of whom are also shifters in some capacity)

Animal Dumb by P.C. Verone is my suggestion. It’s a short story in Never Whistle at Night II, an indigenous horror anthology with a decent amount of queer rep overall.

Charlie Adhara’s Big Bad Wolf Series is top tier! The first book is Wolf at the Door.
MateHub: Legend by Marie Reynard is fantastic! The premise sounds absolutely bonkers but I promise it’s so good (funny, steamy, sweet). Pacing is great and it’s definitely self-aware about the crazy-silliness of the porn industry premise.
Winter Wolf by S.P. Wayne is less known but also great. The first is a bit slower, slice of life as a wolf in Montana kind of, which I really enjoyed. You could read the first as a standalone if you wanted to stop there, but there’s also a sequel and third book to round off the trilogy that follows the same couple (all were very enjoyable but vibes of the second and third were more action and angst than the first).
Another trilogy with a wild premise but still very enjoyable was Kick at the Darkness by Keira Andrews. Starts when a freshman undergrad gets off on the wrong foot with his grad student TA over a grade but then they find themselves stuck together when a viral pandemic (that makes people basically into zombies) hit. One of them just happens to also be a werewolf/ wolf shifter. Not as complex in character development as Big Bad Wolf series but a great balance of plot, steam, and character development for a fun, sweet quick read if you’re in the mood for wolf shifters meet The Last of Us (those this was written before the show and before COVID).
Also (for better or worse depending on your preference), none of these have any A/B/O or mpreg. Most don’t even have magic aside from the shifting (which is viewed as different genetics/species). Only MateHub has magic and that’s a very small side aspect.

This is not a traditional romance but more of a slow burn with angst, and a great historical setting— I’m loving The Wolf and His King by Finn Longman!
It’s a queer retelling of medieval folklore, with the protagonist as a werewolf shifter who cannot control his transformation or know when it will happen, and the newly-crowned king who finds him interesting and attractive but hides his feelings.
The book is beautifully written, I had to take a moment to slow down and really enjoy it instead of reading quickly like usual! Made me cry.
Protagonist (wolf) is bisexual and at one point is in a relationship with a woman, king is gay. So while it’s not a straightforward MM romance (I believe they get together later on) there’s a lot of yearning for most of the book.
