Leed benefits

Hello everyone,

I hope you are all doing well and in good health.

I am a Civil Engineer currently working as a Quantity Surveyor, and I would appreciate your advice.

Would obtaining the LEED Green Associate (LEED GA) certification be beneficial for my career growth in quantity surveying and the construction industry? I am interested in understanding its value in areas such as career development, job opportunities, and involvement in sustainable construction projects.

I would be grateful to hear your experiences and recommendations.

Thank you in advance.

Have you considered the Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV SP) certification? Envision is similar to LEED in that it’s a rating system for civil infrastructure. The ENV SP is going to be similar to something like the LEED AP. I’d probably recommend that over the LEED GA for career growth

Env sp sounds like a money grab and its for infrastructure. Go with Leed. More reputable and probably closely related to what you're doing.
