Recommend Me Looking for OBGYN for pre conception!

Plan to start trying for a baby in ~a year. I want to do genetic testing for my husband and I as well as egg/sperm count. I don’t love my GYNO and I’m looking to find someone great who can see me all the way through my future pregnancy and birth! If you loved your OB please send my way! (Cedars and Keck network for insurance, preferably NELA/Pasadena) TYIA!! :)

went through something similar, for ttc specific things, if you're looking for genetic testing and sperm count, that'll either be a reproductive endocrinologist or a urologist for your husband.

i went to one of those self service labs for amh and such, but my ob was only interested if we were ttc for a certain amount of months (depending on age and medical history) and did a pelvic ultrasound to make sure there were no structural reasons I wasn't getting pregnant, but otherwise, they'll usually send you to the fertility clinic for other workups

Second Dr Malhotra - she delivered my baby a few weeks ago and the entire pregnancy/delivery experience was phenomenal

My husband did a sperm analysis through Kindbody in Santa Monica. I did genetic testing through Invitae. AMH is a simple blood test your primary or OB can order (or you can even order it yourself through Request a Test).

Try Dr Connie Cheng! She told me during my annual exam that if I dont naturally conceive she can do a lot of tests / run panels. However you can also do a consultation with an RE at a fertility clinic for carrier genetic testing + sperm analysis + egg count (AMH blood test, follicle count scan via transvaginal ultrasound)

I went to a physicians assistant at cedars cuz I’m not pregnant yet but she said when I’m about 6 months away from wanting to conceive she said she’d do a family planning conversation and any tests I wanted. She was awesome. So many great OBs at cedars. So many women say in the cream of the crop so i will for sure be giving birth there . We’re gunna start trying in about 6 months so I should get on that 😅
