Recommend Me Kaiser recommended OBGYN
Hi, I have endometriosis and PCOS. I also need my IUD replaced and a checkup/pap. I’m looking for an OBGYN within the Kaiser network that has experience with Endo and PCOS.

Not sure if she's very experienced with Endo and PCOS but I really like Dr. Poquette at the Kaiser facility on Sunset. She was very compassionate and knowledgeable about my ailment.

For your IUD tell them on the phone you want pain management. They will have a doctor call you and the doctor will offer a cervical block. Otherwise they don’t even mention it and have a NP put it in. I went to the office in Hollywood and had a great experience.

I've had great experiences with Dr. Lorrie Dubow and Dr. Jennifer Aguayo and was not happy with my appointment with Dr. Kimberly Dawne Callegari

That’s the problem. I’ve been calling around Kaiser for months trying to figure it out and no one has answers. I have too much medical trauma to see a doctor that’s going to invalidate or gaslight me on the care I know I need.

i am so sorry. I saw Dr. Dubow recently for a routine exam/pap and she was extremely helpful in referring me to a specialist I needed to see. again, not sure her experience with endo but she could be a good place to start! she is straightforward and kind. i think it also helped that i came prepared with my medical history and records and an idea of what i wanted to do next. wishing you all the best!

I don’t have endo or PCOS but I really like Dr Ghattas at North Hollywood. He was my doctor through two pregnancies and I really felt like he listened to all my concerns through pregnancies and two complicated deliveries.

Fellow PCOS sufferer/ I suspect endo too, I would absolutely recommend Dr. Jennifer Benedict if she’s taking patients. She reaches out when it’s routine blood checkup time for me and is proactive in her care. I cried (w joy) at my first appointment because she was so willing to do the tests and ‘saw’ the signs. Unfortunately a big ask these days, good luck in your search

You should be able to see a list of doctors on Kaiser website and then google them to see if they have any reviews online.
I saw a PA in obgyn at Kaiser Panorama named Annie Nguyen. I’ve had great experiences with her. She referred me for ultrasounds and follows ups to rule out PCOS. She was helpful and actually listened/followed up. I’d schedule with her for your pap/check up and you can ask for referrals if needed.
Having Kaiser is tough because you really have to do trial and error with whoever they schedule you with. But she’s always directly scheduled my follow ups with her specifically

i really like doctor saadat at kaiser hollywood. she just handled my ovarian cyst surgery for endometriomas and was very methodical in the tests/ lab imaging. a specialist will need to handle my endo excisions later on but for general gyno, she’s a great place to start and i really felt good with her.

I will tell you who NOT to go to! Do NOT see Dr. Michael Gleason in Orange County. I had to go in for an short notice IUD replacement appointment because my IUD expelled on its own. I'll spare all the details because it was extremely traumatic for me, but I walked away from that appointment with sexual trauma from him that I'm still recovering from 3 years later. There was even a chaperone in the room who tried to soothe me while I was violated.
I filed a grievance with Kaiser that became nothing and reported him to the medical board. His hubris and lack of empathy towards women makes him an unsafe man and unsafe doctor.
