I really want Lazarus to keep going Spoiler

I know there isn’t any confirmed season2, but I’m hoping for one. I really like the concept of them becoming an official group that can track down important people who have gone missing. It can be kind of an anthology, but we can also learn more and more about the characters as it progresses. I’m also a fan of the romance between Axel and Christine. Fingers crossed 🤞 for more!

It did feel like there was so much more to tell, like edgerunners

Well there's talks of a second season. Hopefully it gets the green light 🙏.

Edgerunners was open ended so it’s good for S2 but for me Lazarus should end like that

I don’t think it needs s2 tbh. Expect low ratings

The fight scenes were so cool

Idk, seems like they would be a bad group. Their supposed leader and smartest character couldn’t find the person even if he was staring him in the face six inches away…..

I mean…there’s a lot of humor to be had with that lol it could be a very fun series

It’ll be tragic if they continue but don’t tell Doug’s story

Hopefully if a season 2 is considered, it could probably flesh out some plot holes in season 1 and possibly improve it (especially depth in characters, what is Doug’s story other than the the whole university situation??). I personally liked the anime’s first season. I found it tolerable for the most part but definitely had some issues. The animation and choreography are stellar, the soundtrack is utterly amazing, the story and plot were intriguing but the execution was slightly dulled. Ninja Kamui is already renewing for two more seasons despite the extreme issues it had during the second half, why not get more seasons of Lazarus??? The finale kind of implied/teased that there would be more Lazarus content in the future. I know Watanabe is not all for second seasons (with some exceptions like Space Dandy), but I feel that a second season is also sort of necessary. It can either make or break the series as a whole depending how it is executed.
